Stage 284 & Creative Co-Op
We’ve got exciting news to share….
We’re merging with Creative Co-Op in Topsfield! As you know, Stage 284 leads with inclusivity and kindness first and so does Creative Co-Op! We are also both dedicated to creating brave spaces where every individual is welcomed AND celebrated, we believe that making art brings communities together in important ways. With this merger, we can do more, create more and be more together.
This is a big opportunity—full of big possibilities and likely accompanied by some big questions. We will try to answer a few now and will keep you informed every step of the way.
What’s going to be bigger and better:
Expanded location. Stage 284 will be in residence at Creative Co-Op’s Topsfield location, extending our footprint to make it easier for more people to be a part of our programs.
Expanded opportunities. Access to more teachers and directors means more ways to explore and learn – from acting, singing, and dancing, to lighting, sound, set design – and so much more!
Expanded programs. Be on lookout for fun events, new workshops, and pop-up classes in both the Topsfield and Hamilton locations.
What’s staying the same:
Our staff. Katie, Craig, and Kimberly will still be leading our programs, plus some other familiar faces that you may know.
Our stage. While rehearsals and classes may take place in Creative Co-Op’s Topsfield location, all performances will remain on our stage, with our technical team.
Our passion. Building confidence is still our number one priority—and being silly, being bold, and being brave will always be encouraged.
We can’t wait for you and your family to experience all the incredible benefits of our two organizations joining forces. Stay tuned for more news as we get ready to roll out our first joint summer programs together. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions.

Adult Tap Dancing
Wednesdays: 6:30–7:15 PM at Creative Co-Op in Topsfield
$15.00/drop in
Great for all levels of tapper—everyone is welcome, even if you’ve never tap danced before. So, what are you waiting for? Grab your tap shoes and dance with Stacey McDonald!
*Must have 3+ students to run each week, class closes at 1PM on Wednesdays.
