What is Pride Bingo?

Pride Bingo is the name of the game as the traditional bingo caller is replaced by a sparkling Drag Queen, who calls the numbers, cracks jokes and entertains the audience.

Why Pride Bingo?

Pride Bingo is a fun way to celebrate Pride. Drag performers have long been at the forefront of the fight for LGBTQ+ rights and inclusion. The famous Stonewall Riot, often cited as the seminal event of the modern movement for LGBTQ+ rights in the United States, was led by drag performers who refused to quietly accept unfair and brutal treatment from the authorities. Drag has been a source of delight and playfulness in dark times, a means to unite the community for a cause, inspiring courage and self-acceptance.

What can I expect at TCH’s Pride Bingo event?

Fun, prizes, music and camaraderie! Patrons will enjoy a social cocktail hour with light snacks from 6:30-7:30 pm. Then two fabulous drag queens will lead bingo and provide musical entertainment. The cash bar will be available from 6:30 pm until 9:30 pm.

If you’re wondering what to wear for this occasion, most importantly, be comfortable and be YOU! Sequins, feathers, and rainbow attire are encouraged. Go all out! There will be a prize for the “Most Fabulous” guest! You can visit the “Glow Up” station if you want to ramp up your fabulousness and have a photo taken with your group or with one of the performers. Please note: this event will be indoor/outdoor (weather permitting) with food and drink outside and gaming indoors. So check the weather and bring a light sweater if necessary.

Included with the suggested donation, participants will receive one bingo card, which is good for multiple games. More advanced players can play multiple cards with an additional suggested donation of $10 per card. Bring extra cash or credit cards for beverages from the full bar.

Performances are appropriately sassy and geared to an adult audience. Proceeds will benefit Stage 284 at The Community House.

Registration will open on Friday, May 24th at 5 pm.
