The Kids Community Testimonials
“I was anxious about my son starting Kindergarten and going to an afterschool program, but he has had a fantastic experience at TKC. His group leader is wonderful; she gets to know and truly cares about each child. I love that TKC brings in special programming like lego robotics and marine education and that the kids get lots of outside time. I’m grateful we have such a strong, reliable, child-centered program in the Hamilton-Wenham community!” –A.B., May 2022
“TKC has been a wonderful after care solution for our family. The entire team is welcoming and caring, and our daughter has loved her time with her friends from Cutler she may not see during the day, as well as building new friendships! The additional enrichment activities have been a nice addition to round out her school day. Tracey has built an incredible program, and we look forward to using TKC for years to come.” –K.C., May 2022
“TKC has provided our family with a caring, safe and fun environment for afterschool care for years now. Given this, it was both a relief and a blessing, to see they had expanded their services this year. As our family struggled to identify assistance for our two children and their hybrid school schedules, we quickly jumped at the chance to enroll at the TKC. The staff has been flexible and accommodating, as we have navigated together, what has been trying and often uncertain times. We couldn’t be more grateful and appreciative to have such a wonderful program right in town for our children.” –M.B., February 2021
“We don’t know what we’d do without TKC! The wonderful staff and consistent program have been a calm in the storm during this challenging year. The excellent communication, care, compassion, variety of activities, flexibility and value make this a program our family will be a part of for years to come. My youngest child is excited to start Kindergarten next year mostly so she can go to TKC!” –Overton Family, February 2021
“Kids Community was a lifesaver for me and my family during the COVID-19 shut downs. With two parents working from home and two kids remote learning, it was impossible to get anything done. I was also worried about my son’s social and emotional needs to be with other kids, since he had started kindergarten this year. He loved the friends and the activities at TKC. He got outside, got to play, and did his remote work in a supervised environment. I never worried about him and about his safety for even a moment. I am SO thankful for TKC for providing this much-needed resource to our towns!” –Campbell Family
“TKC has been a huge help in providing our son a safe and productive environment for his remote learning. The staff are responsive to his needs and always willing to work with him to solve any issues that arise, all while creating a fun experience for him and his peers. Not only that, but their flexibility and ability to work with our needs as a family has been extremely helpful during this time of constant change and varying work demands.” –Jackling Family
“We love TKC. They are great with supporting remote learning with computers, they made switching remote/in-person learning seamless, and have lots of fun activities (indoor and outdoor). All the staff are friendly and helpful, and most importantly, our daughter loves it!” –C.L.
Stage 284 Testimonials
“The workshops at Stage 284 have been a wonderful experience for McKenna. From the very first workshop she attended for Beauty and the Beast to the three week intensive workshop for Sound of Music- she couldn’t wait to go every day and never wanted them to end! She is always looking forward to the next workshop she can attend! She loves keeping busy with acting, singing and being with other kids her age who love it like she does. I’m so thankful to have a fun and safe place for her to grow and learn and make friends. I also really enjoy a good musical and seeing my kids perform! It’s amazing what a great show they can’t put together so quickly, all while having fun!” –Katie Donahue
“Maddie had such a great time at Stage 284’s Annie summer session last year. I wasn’t sure how she would do because she had just turned 5 and had never done anything at The Community House, but she loved the movie Annie and I thought this would be a great chance for her to experience the magic of theatre. She made a lot of friends and fit right in. It was great to see her pick up all of the dance numbers so quickly. After, she told me it was one of the best weeks of her life. She can’t wait to go back this Summer and participate in the Finding Nemo camp.” –Angela Rossi
