For Ages 18 months to 5 years.
What is Creative Corner?
Engaging young minds through art and sensory play, Creative Corner offers dynamic 60-minute classes designed to inspire creativity and exploration. This program is run by Amy Banda, who runs our art-focused programs and specializes in process-based art; it’s about the process not the final product!
About Amy Banda, our Art Teacher: Amy is a longstanding art teacher that has worked with hundreds of TKC kids over the last few years. Amy’s approach is all about the process and not the product, she loves to focus on immersing the child in the act of artmaking.
Creative Corner offers 6-week sessions, with each week offering different experiences. Throughout the session, children engage in art-making in a friendly and supportive social setting
Why Attend Creative Corner?
Creative Corner offers 6-week sessions, with each week offering different experiences. Throughout the session, children engage in art-making in a friendly and supportive social setting
Parents and caregivers immerse with their children in a creative process with art materials. Amy sets out a new project every week, offering a couple of options each week. It’s about not being afraid to get messy in a supported space! Caregivers are encouraged to support but not lead the immersive experience, and it fosters an environment of positive reinforcement and group work.

Thursdays at 10 am, The Community House, the TKC Room in lower level.
$120 for one 6-week session.
- Session 1: passed
- Session 2: November 5 through December 17, every Thursday except November 26
- Session 3: January 7 through February 11, every Thursday
- Session 4: February 25 through April 1, every Thursday
- Session 5: April 8 through May 20, every Thursday except April 22
