Giving Opportunities

The Community House has been determined by the IRS to be a 501(c)3 organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

For 100 years, The Community House has provided a gathering place for all community members. Over the years, families have found a place to celebrate life’s important milestones; birthdays, weddings, anniversary parties and more. The Community House has always been a place to build memories. People from across the North Shore have enjoyed special events like the annual Block Party, Visit with Santa, or a concert in Patton Park on a warm summers’ night. As a charitable organization, we rely on your support to continue to provide these programs and services and much, much more. Please consider supporting us today, by making a donation to any of our charitable funds listed below, so that we will continue to provide a place to celebrate, learn and connect for another 100 years!

Sponsorship

The Community House offers a number of sponsorship opportunities for local businesses. By sponsoring one of our annual community-wide events, you are making it possible for all community members to participate for little or no fee.

Sponsoring our property and building beautification program will help us showcase our building and grounds and highlight our place on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Scholarship Fund is an important component of our Annual Fund. These funds provide financial assistance for individuals, children, and families in need so they may participate in Community House programs. You may direct your giving to any of the following program areas where you wish to make the greatest impact.

Stage 284 Program Scholarship Fund: A donation to this fund will provide financial aid for a child who wishes to participate in one of our Stage 284 Mainstage or Youth Company Productions or Youth Studio enrichment workshops.

Friends Club Fund: The Friends Club offers year-round activities for adults with a variety of intellectual, social and/or physical disabilities. Established over 30 years ago by Mrs. Joanne Patton, this program is FREE of charge for all participants and offers a variety of social and recreational fun for the participants. A gift to this fund will provide critical operating support to continue this wonderful program.

Family Programs Fund: This fund supports children and families so that they can enjoy one of our fantastic non-performing arts-related programs such as: Ski Bradford, Mother-Son Knight Out, Father-Daughter Ball, Visit with Santa, baby and toddler programs and classes for all ages.
