The Kids Community @ 284 is a before and after school childcare program owned and operated by The Community House. Applicant must be 20+ and have ONE of the following:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Guidance, Human Services, Nursing,
Psychology, Physical Education, Recreation, Child Psychology, the Arts, Social Work, Sociology, or Child Care AND 6 months of experience
working with school age children.
OR Bachelor’s Degree in any field or an Associate’s Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child
Guidance, Human services, Nursing, Psychology, Physical Education, Recreation, Child Psychology, the Arts, Social Work, Sociology, or
Child Care AND nine months of experience working with school age children.
OR High School diploma or equivalent AND one year of experience working with school age children

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree and 3 months of experience working with school-age children preferred
OR High School diploma or equivalent and six months of experience working with school-age children including three months of supervised
experience at a school-age child care program
OR nine months of experience with school-age children including three months of supervised experience at a school-age child care program

Stage 284 Youth Studio Curtains Up Apprentice

Do you love theater? Are you excited about fostering the love of theater in others? Do you anticipate needs before they are spoken? Are you outgoing and friendly? We have the perfect job waiting for you!

Curtain’s Up is Stage 284’s after school workshop for 6th – 8th graders, focused on acting, singing, improv and scene study. We are seeking an apprentice to be the right-hand person to our actors in residence, assisting in the day-to-day instruction of our youth, managing all workshop materials, and being crowned the nobility of attendance taking.

Stage 284 Youth Studio Vacation Workshop Lead Teacher

Why should youth have a hum-drum vacation experience when they can be bringing a production to life? Do you love theater? Are you excited about fostering the love of theater in others? Are kiddos drawn to your dynamic energy? Do you appreciate a good team when you see one? Are you outgoing and friendly? We know you’ll love what we have to offer!

In our Youth Studio Vacation Workshops, we believe that process and product have equal value. Youth (ages 7-15) enter a magical space that we create in which they are encouraged to grow, learn, make mistakes, and hone their skills. As the Lead Teacher EXTRAORDINAIRE, you will be imparting your golden theater knowledge to the young minds of our community.

Are you, or someone you know, interested in facilitating local classes, workshops, groups, or trainings?

The Community House is currently seeking motivated and experienced persons who have a particular skill, talent, or knowledge that they can share with the community. Examples such as Art, Music, Movement, Educational Topics, and Foreign Languages would be excellent additions to our menu of programs and activities.
