TKC K-2 Crew

A full day camp experience – for incoming Kindergarten through 2nd graders – complete with daily enrichment, a weekly field trip, 3 days of afternoon swimming at Patton Park pool, and a weekly performance by Stage 284 workshop participants.

Ages Incoming K-2nd grade

Daily Hours 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

Registration Fee $50/registration fee, one per child for all summer programs at TCH (not applied to tuition)

Weekly Cost $450/registration payment or $150 deposit before 4/1 $485/registration after 4/1

*Weeks 2 and 11 are short weeks and have their associated costs listed in the description.

Balance due the week prior to program start. Final payment will be charged to card on file.

Stage 284 Little Lights

Little Lights offers space for our youngest actors to explore their love of performing arts! This workshop culminates in a 20–30 minute showcase featuring a medley of songs and scenes built around a fun, inspiring theme.

Ages Incoming 1-5th grade

Daily Hours 8:30 am – 3:30 pm* after camp care available fork-5th graders in our Hamilton location until 5:30pm

Stage 284 Rising Stars

Rising Stars offers a full theatrical experience in a condensed format. Throughout this two-week process, young actors work together to bring a story to life with sets, lighting, props, and costumes!

Ages Incoming 1-5th & 3-8th grade

Daily Hours 8:30 am – 3:30 pm* after camp care available for k-5th graders in our Hamilton location until 5:30pm

Stage 284 Teen Intensive

This advanced program is designed for passionate actors ready to take on a full-scale musical. Over two weeks, students will immerse themselves in a powerful story.

Ages Incoming 8-12th grade

TKC offers enrichment programs for incoming K–5th graders with hands-on activities that spark curiosity and confidence. Stage 284 provides theater workshops in voice, dance, and acting for a fun glimpse into the world of performance. Both programs offer safe, supportive spaces where kids can explore, imagine, and grow.

    Calling all super sleuths! During Mystery Detectives Week, campers become real investigators, solving puzzles, decoding secret messages, and cracking camp-wide mysteries. Using iPads, they’ll dive into fun, age-appropriate mystery and logic games, building teamwork and critical-thinking skills along the way. Each day brings its own twist: Tuesdays are Sweet Treat Day, afternoons include cool swim time at the Patton Park Pool, Wednesdays feature our exciting field trip adventures, and Fridays wrap up the week with a Friday Fun Theme.. It’s a thrilling week of mystery, creativity, and collaboration, perfect for curious minds ready to crack the case!

    This energetic Sports week focuses on teamwork, communication, and creative play through fun, inclusive games. Campers sharpen memory and reasoning skills in the Alibi Game, work together silently during Birthday Line Up challenges, and burn energy with classic favorites like Blob Tag. They’ll also build trust and cooperation through group challenges such as the Human Knot, practice clear communication in a Blind Obstacle Course, and unleash creativity by designing and playing their own game in Invent-a-Sport. Activities are non-threatening, age-appropriate, and designed to help campers build confidence, social skills, and teamwork, all while staying active and having fun. Each day brings something special: Tuesdays are Special Snack Day, where we’ll make a superhero-themed treat; two to three afternoons each week include cool-down time at the Patton Park Pool; Wednesdays feature our exciting field trip day; Thursdays bring Sweet Treat Day; and Friday this week we will be closed in observation of July 4th.

    Kids are introduced to coding concepts in a fun, age-appropriate way—no experience needed! Campers start with unplugged coding by creating binary bead bracelets, learning how computers use 0s and 1s to share information. They then explore visual block coding, using beginner-friendly platforms to make characters move or tell simple stories. The day wraps up with game design thinking, where students design their own mazes and practice logic, sequencing, and “if/then” rules. This activity builds problem-solving, creativity, and confidence with technology in a supportive, hands-on environment.     Campers explore creativity and technology through hands-on digital art projects. They’ll learn digital drawing basics by tracing and coloring images, experiment with stop-motion animation using clay or LEGOs to create short videos, and have fun with photo editing by adding effects and props to silly portraits. This playful, guided experience builds creativity, fine motor skills, and confidence with digital tools in a safe, age-appropriate setting.     A week of projects based on interests: jewelry, crocheting, woodwork, building, clay modeling. Kids explore hands-on art and design through a variety of creative crafts. They’ll make friendship bracelets and beaded jewelry, learn the basics of finger crocheting with yarn, and experiment with clay sculpture by building coil pots or small creations. This calming, creative session builds fine motor skills, patience, and self-expression while giving kids artwork they’re proud to take home. They’ll warm up with classic board games to practice planning and decision-making, then work together in a team speed-run challenge using age-appropriate video games. The day ends with a friendly video game tournament that emphasizes cooperation, positive competition, and cheering for others. This session builds critical thinking, communication, and respectful gaming habits in a fun, supervised environment.     Campers learn basic woodworking skills in a safe, hands-on environment. They start with measuring mastery, practicing accuracy with rulers and squares, then move on to simple construction by building a small wood structure. Finally, they add a personal touch by creating custom signs through sanding, painting, and decorating. This session develops precision, patience, creativity, and confidence with tools in a fun, supervised setting. Using LEGO robotics and a variety of building materials, campers will design, construct, and experiment as they bring their ideas to life.   • Under the Sea

    Make a splash this summer in our ocean-inspired musical theater workshop! Students will dive into the world of singing, dancing, and acting while exploring an imaginative under-the-sea theme. Composers: Little Mermaid, Alan Menken; Nemo, Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez; Once On This Island, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty; and more! 

    What Happens Each Day:

    • Learn fun choreography.
    • Discover how to use their natural voices to project.
    • Practice songs from beloved sea-themed musicals and movies.
    • Create ocean-themed crafts and props to bring their performances to life.
    • Actors will be part of a showcase at the end of the week-long program wearing a Stage 284 t-shirt.
