Amelia Aguiar (Little Kids Ensemble)

Adelaide Bard
Adelaide Baird (Mrs. Phelps, Big Kid, Featured Dancer) has loved theater since she was very little and is having loads of fun in Matilda Jr, she has been in many productions at stage 284 such as Newsies, Frozen, The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast. She would like to thank her friends for being so supportive of her theater career.

Greta Baird
Greta Baird (Miss Honey) is an 8th grader in Hamilton, she loves doing these shows at stage 284, and she is excited to be back with this amazing group of people. Greta is playing Miss Honey in this production of Matilda Jr. Previously, Greta has played Katherine in Newsies, Nala in Lion King Jr, Anna in Frozen Jr, and Molly in Annie. Outside of acting, Greta likes to play soccer, draw, and hang out with friends and family. She is so excited to put on this show, and would like to thank her cast and her amazing directors. She would also like to thank her family for supporting as she practiced and for driving her to and from rehearsals. She hopes you will enjoy the show!

John Barstow
John Bartow (he/him) (Bruce Bogtrotter) is excited to be in his first performance at Stage 284 with Matilda! John is playing “Bruce Bogtrotter!” This is John’s first experience acting in theater, but he was an extra in the 2019 film Little Women (look for him in the beach scene). On top of acting, John also enjoys skiing, biking and playing the piano, ukulele, and trombone. He also likes chocolate cake 😉

Penelope Bellucci
Penelope Bellucci (she/her/hers) (Big Kid One, Big Kid Ensemble, Eric U/S) is 14 years old and in eighth grade at Miles River Middle School. In her free time, she likes reading, singing, and hanging out with friends. Previous roles for Penelope include “Rapunzel’s Prince” in Into the Woods, “Ensemble”, in Aladdin Jr., “Who Ensemble” in Seussical the Musical, and “Snyder/Newsie” in Newsies. She would like to thank her friends, her parents, her brothers Eli and Sam, her grandparents, and her dog Charity for supporting her, and the production team at Stage 284 for making this such a great experience.

Sam Bellucci
Sam Bellucci (he/him) (Michael, Big Kid Ensemble, Featured Dancer) is 9 years old and in third grade at Cutler Elementary School. Previously, Sam has participated in the Wednesday Workshops for Where the Wild Things Are and Harry Potter. Newsies was his first Main Stage production, and he loves being back at Stage 284 for Matilda Jr.! Sam also plays soccer, and in his free time, he enjoys playing outside with friends, hanging out with his brother Eli, and discussing books with his sister Penelope. He would like to thank his family, his friends, and the entire Stage 284 family for their support.

Scarlett Berge
Scarlett Berge (she/her) (Miss Honey) is thrilled to be joining the team at Stage 284 with Matilda Jr! Scarlett is playing “Miss Honey”! She’s been acting since preschool, and some of her favorite past roles include “Headmistress Black” in Brick By Brick, “Flounder” in The Little Mermaid Jr, and “Thomas” in Jesus Christ Superstar. As well as acting, Scarlett has been singing and dancing for years. She would like to thank her close friends and family for always being supportive, and the entire cast and crew of Matilda Jr for their hard work and kindness throughout rehearsals! She hopes that this show will encourage children to speak up for what they believe in.

Sophie Breed (Little Kids Ensemble)

Darcy Buell
Darcy Buell (she/her) (Mrs. Phelps, Big Kid, Featured Dancer) is Darcy’s Stage 284 debut, and she is so excited. Darcy has the honor of playing “Mrs. Phelps”! She has performed in many musicals and plays such as Frozen Jr. “Anna”, A Midsummer Night’s Dream “Hermia”, Tarzan Jr. “Jane”. She has taken music lessons for four years now and has been working on her singing skills. She has also participated in many acting camps and programs to improve her acting. Darcy dedicates this performance to her family, who has inspired her to start singing and following her dreams to become a great actress!

Peyton Buksa
Peyton Buksa (she/her) (little kid ensemble, Hortensia U/S) is extremely proud to be joining the cast of Matilda and returning to Stage 284. Peyton started acting at 4 years old and has not looked back. Past credits include “Wednesday Addams” in The Addams Family, “Ladybug” in James and the Giant Peach, and “Little Anna” in Frozen. She also loves playing lacrosse. She would like to thank her parents, family, and friends for their love and support.

Ekin Cakim
Ekin Cakim (she/her) (Matilda) is thrilled to be performing as Matilda with Stage 284 company. A long time fan of the book and the movie, Ekin cherishes the opportunity to play her dream role with a wonderful cast and production team. Past credits include “Charlotte’s Web” at Wheelock Family Theatre, “Frozen Jr./Young Anna” at Greater Boston Stage Company, “Ruthless the Musical/Tina Denmark” with Theatre UnCorked, “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown/Sally Brown” and “Squirrel Girl Goes To College/Tippy Toe” at Clarke Middle School Drama. In addition to acting and singing, Ekin is very passionate about horses and riding.

Isabelle Campbell

Kiki Campbell
Kiki Campbell (she/her) (Lavender) is overjoyed to be playing “Lavender” in Matilda Jr. It is her debut at Stage 284 and she has loved every minute of it! Kiki recently was cast in her first show Annie Jr as “Tessie”. Some of her interests other than acting and performing include, singing, playing flute, ukulele, and guitar. Kiki enjoys writing, surfing, paddle boarding, and raising monarch butterflies. She would like to thank her grandmother for always believing in her and being the best “Nini” she could ask for. Kiki also would like to thank the directors for all of their support and everything they have done to put this amazing show together. They have made this experience so memorable!

Cecilia Crockett
Cecilia Crockett (she/her) (Mrs. Wormwood) is excited to join the cast of Matilda. She has been in many plays. Some include: Shenzi (Lion King) Hannah (Newsies) and Raps Prince (Into The Woods). She enjoys reading and listening to podcasts. She hopes that everyone has fun at the show.

Patrick Crockett
Patrick Crockett (he/him) (lighting/tech) works hard behind the scenes. He has enjoyed building sets for “Newsies” and “Into the Woods” at Stage 284. He also helps set up and operate the lighting system at 284. Lighting and set are so important. The lighting helps establish the mood, and emphasizes what’s happening in the show.

Riley Crockett
Riley Crockett (she/her) (Michael, featured dancer, Big Kid) (6th grade) loves acting. She has been in many other Stage 284 productions such as The Sound of Music (Max), Newsies (Weasel, U.S Pulitzer), The Jungle Book, and many more. Outside of acting, she loves hanging with friends and helping with anything she can. She would love to thank her parents, friends, family, Holly and Casper for supporting her.

Evelyn Crowell
Evelyn Crowell (she/her) (Lavender) is so excited to be at Stage 284 with Matilda! Evelyn is playing Lavender! Evelyn started acting a few years ago and she loves it! Past shows have included playing the Harp, the Hen and the Cow in Into the Woods and Little Anna in Frozen Jr. She hopes this show will be exciting and hilarious!

Katie Daniels
Katie Daniels (she/her) (Matilda) is thrilled to be cast as Matilda in this stage 284 production. Her favorite roles have included “Crutchie” in Newsies and “Gladys Herdman” in The Greatest Christmas Pageant Ever. When she is not on stage she loves to sing, create art and spend time with her friends. Katie would like to thank the Stage 284 cast and crew for believing in her and her family and friends for supporting her. She hopes you enjoy this show as much as she has.

Lucy Davison
Lucy Davision (she/her) (Amanda) is excited to be playing the role of Amanda in the Naughty Cast of Stage 284’s production of Matilda Jr! Lucy has been acting since the 1st grade. Past credits include “Little Red” in Into the Woods, “Dina” in Schoolhouse Rock Live Jr, and “Young Anastasia/Alexei” in Anastasia, among others. Lucy would like to thank her family and friends for coming to her performances, and she’d also like to thank the directors and everyone else involved in making this show happen!

Giselle Dean
Giselle Dean (she/they) (little kids ensemble, Alice U/S) is thrilled to be in her first main stage production! She has been acting in Stage 284 workshops since first grade. She enjoys dancing, acting, singing, and video games, and she also plays piano. Giselle would like to thank her family, including her dog, Dakoda, for being supportive. She would also like to thank the Matilda cast and crew for welcoming her with open arms!

McKenna Donahue
McKenna Donahue (she/her) (Nigel) is so excited to play Nigel in stage 284’s production of “Matilda”! McKenna is always singing and has been taking voice lessons and doing theater since she was six. Some of her favorite roles include Les in Newsies and Gretl in The Sound of Music. She is thankful for her parents and sister Gabby for driving her to rehearsals and her friends and family for coming to see the show. She hopes you enjoy Matilda!

Jukia Fanikos (she/her) (Big kid 3, Mrs. Phelps U/S) is excited to be back at Stage 284 with Matilda. Julia started acting at Stage 284 in elementary school. Past credits include “Mysterious Man” in Into the Woods, “Rafiki” in Lion King, “Thing 1” in Seussical, and ensemble for Frozen, Legally Blonde, High School Musical, Best Christmas Pageant Ever, To Kill A Mockingbird and School of Rock. Julia also enjoys acting in the St. John’s Prep and Hamilton-Wenham drama programs and singing in the HW Middle School chorale. Julia would like to thank her parents, her big brother Jimmy, her grandparents and her pup Cleo for supporting her in all her roles.

Madeline Frontierro
Madeline Frontierro (she/her) (Alice) is loving her time playing “Alice” in both casts of Stage 284’s production of Matilda Jr. Her past roles this year include “Les” in Newsies (her favorite), “Marta” in The Sound of Music, and Wally Webb in Our Town. She wants to thank her 284 family for all the fun times and hopes you enjoy the show!

Sprout Alexis Geary
Sprout Alexis Greary (she/they/he) (Mr. Wormwood) is a thirteen year old who has been in theater from a very young age, she definitely has a type as far as who she gets cast as, with her role in “Annie” as Rooster, her role in “The Little Mermaid” as Sebastian, and now her role in “Matilda” as Mr. Wormwood. Alexis is thrilled to be with stage 284 in the production of Matilda, and is truly grateful to all of the wonderful people who worked their absolute hardest to make the production possible!

Beckett Guest
Beckett Guest (he/him) (Bruce Bogtrotter) is a 7th grader at O’Maley middle school in Gloucester. He loves acting because it gives him a healthy outlet for his emotions. Beckett has been acting since he was 5 years old and this is his 10th production with Stage 284. Previous roles include “Cat” in Seussical, “Jack” in Into the Woods and “Race” in Newsies. He was also “Peter” in Mame at NSMT among various other roles around the North Shore. Beckett is excited his friends from Gloucester will be joining him on the Stage 284 stage for Matilda Jr! He would like to thank his mom for carting him around everywhere he goes.

Elizabeth Hersey
Elizabeth Hersey (she/her) (little kid ensemble) is so excited to be performing with Stage 284 as part of the Little Kids Ensemble in Matilda Jr. This is Elizabeth’s first theater production, and she is so grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a fun cast! In her spare time she enjoys gymnastics and is an active Girl Scout in the community.

Samantha Lenocker (she/her) (Little kid ensemble, acrobat U/S, Big Kid 2 Understudy) is enjoying being part of the Stage 284 family. She is playing a little kid and the Acrobat understudy. Samantha has played “Young Elsa” in Frozen Jr. from Stage 284, and “One” in This is a Test performed at MRMS. She would like to thank her parents for making sure she can make it to every rehearsal on time and would also like to thank her friends for supporting her. Samantha hopes that this play will inspire you to speak out, and realize that sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty!

Riley McKinnon (she/her) (Mrs. Wormwood) is very excited to be part of this show and to be a new member of Stage 284! Riley started acting in theater in kindergarten in Peter Pan. Since then she has been part of a lot of YMCA and school productions. Her last role being Grace Farrell in Annie Jr. Riley has also done crew in productions like Matilda Jr and Shrek Jr. She would like to thank her family, friends, teachers and directors for supporting and believing in her. Lastly, she hopes you all enjoy the show and have a great time!

Nuala Mohan
Nuala Mohan (she/her) (big kid ensemble, featured dancer, Nigel U/S) is excited to be in Matilda! She has been in many shows including: High School Musical (Susan, Ensemble), and Newsies (Henry) at Stage 284. Thank you to Stage 284 and Katie for this opportunity! She hopes you enjoy the show!

Maeve Moran
Maeve Moran (she/her) (Amanda) is very excited to be in her first production at Stage 284! Maeve has been a part of a local group, Magnolia Arts Exchange for the past three years where she found her love for singing and performance. She is very excited to take the stage in her first full musical. Maeve has also recently started working with voice coach Alexandra Grace and gotten to perform at the Shoalin Liu in Rockport, MA. Maeve has enjoyed making new friends in the cast and is looking forward to putting on a great show.

Madison O’Brien
Madison O’Brien (she/her) (Big Kid 3, Featured Dancer, Matilda U/S) is so happy to be back at Stage 284 as Big Kid Ensemble, Featured Dancer, and Matilda u/s! Some of her favorite past credits include Splasher/Bowery Beauty in Newsies, Mowgli in The Jungle Book, and Sister Sophia in The Sound of Music. Madison would like to thank everyone, especially her parents, for making this show possible!

Ida Pelikhov
Ida Pelikhov (she/her) (Hortensia) is excited to play Hortensia alongside her twin brother in their second main stage show at Stage 284! Ida is 8 years old, lives in Marblehead, loves fashion and doing gymnastics at Burke’s. Previous credits include Oscar Delancey in Newsies!, July in Annie Jr and Dory in Finding Nemo, all at Stage 284, and Concessionaire in Charlotte’s Web. She can’t wait to show you how “naughty” and “revolting” she can be! Ida wishes to thank the directors and crew and her family, and hopes that Noah and the whole cast break a leg!

Noah Pelikhov
Noah Pelikhov (he/him) (Tommy) is excited to play Tommy alongside his twin sister in their second main stage show at Stage 284! Noah is 8 years old, lives in Marblehead, likes playing basketball and practices gymnastics at Iron Rail. Previous credits include Morris Delancey in Newsies!, Sandy in Annie Jr and Marlin in Finding Nemo, all at Stage 284, and Fairgoer in Charlotte’s Web. He is excited to sing, dance and revolt! Noah wishes to thank the directors and crew and his family, and hopes that Ida and the whole cast break a leg!

Tarynn Pong
Tarynn Pong (she/her) (Miss. Trunchbull) is playing Miss Trunchbull, the mean headmistress, in Matilda Jr. She played a narrator in ‘A Christmas Carol’ and Nick Bottom in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ during the pandemic (over zoom), so this is her on-stage debut. Tarynn would like to thank her parents for the long rehearsal drives and her friends for making them memorable. She hopes the show is enjoyable to all!!

Dylan Poulo
Dylan Poulo (he/him) (Little Kid Ensemble) is so excited to be participating in his first Stage 284 production. Dylan just turned nine and is finishing up second grade at Shore Country Day School. When he’s not at the Community House you can find him on the soccer or flag football field. Dylan would like to thank the incredible cast, crew and production team for making him feel so welcome and making his first show so much fun!

Eva Revette
Eva Revette (she/her) (Little Kid Ensemble, Featured Dancer, U/S Michael) is excited to return to Stage 284 in the cast of “Matilda!” Some of her favorite previous roles include Les in “Newsies” and Kurt Von Trapp in “The Sound of Music.” She wants to thank Katie, Craig and the entire cast and crew for all of their hard work to make “Matilda” come to life!

Lucine Revette
Lucine Revette (she/her) (Big Kid Ensemble, U/S Miss Honey) has loved her time at Stage 284 and is grateful to be a part of “Matilda.” Some of Lucine’s past acting credits include, Mary Lennox in “The Secret Garden,” Scout in “To Kill a Mockingbird,” and Nellie Oakley in “Annie Get Your Gun” right here at Stage 284, as well as Orphan Ensemble in “Annie” at Ogunquit Playhouse. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Rori Rounds
Rori Rounds (she/her) (Little kid ensemble, featured dancer, Bruce U/S) is excited to be back on stage and in live theater! Rori is in the little kid ensemble, a featured dancer and has an understudy role for the first time! Rori started theater when she was 5 years old and has been performing in some way or another ever since! Past credits include the baby Kangaroo in Seussical, Molly in Annie Jr. and the Stepmother in Into The Woods. Aside from theater, Rori loves to cheerlead and competes on an all year elite cheer team! Rori would like to thank her parents, stepdad, grandparents, Leanne and her siblings for all their love, dedication and support. Good luck to the casts and crew, this show will be one to remember!

Sage Russman
Sage Russman (she/her) (little kid ensemble) is thrilled to be performing in Matilda Jr.! Sage is 7 years old and discovered a love of musical theater and acting in her living room, where she staged many one-person shows for her parents and cat. From there, Sage explored the stage “al fresco” during summer camp at Theater in the Open in Newburyport. Matilda Jr. is Sage’s first performance with Stage 284. In addition to acting, Sage is a Yellow Belt at the North Shore Karate Academy and enjoys ballet and jazz dance lessons at Hamilton Wenham School of Dance. Sage would like to thank the directors of Matilda Jr. and her cast for welcoming her and being so supportive, Kailey Jones, her beloved music inspirer and teacher, and Stage 284 for giving her this opportunity.

Runa Sadachi
Runa Sadachi (she/her) (acrobat, featured dancer, little kids ensemble) is so excited to be in Stage 284’s production of Matilda Jr.! She has been acting for many years and has now done 3 shows with Stage 284. Runa is playing The Acrobat, is part of the Little Kids Ensemble, as well as a Featured Dancer. Previous roles have been Violet (Willy Wonka Jr.), King Louie (Jungle Book Jr.), and Brigitta Von Trapp (The Sound of Music Jr.). Apart from theater, Runa enjoys playing soccer, reading, playing the piano, listening to music, running and hanging out with friends. Runa would like to thank the whole team, Katie, Cassie, Gabby, Lauren, Kiran, Georgia and Susan for all the hard work and effort they put into this to make it a fun and great show for the cast! Wren Shanks (he/they) (rudolpho, featured dancer, big kid) is excited to be in Matilda. He is playing Rudolpho. Wren has been acting for a few years now and some past roles are Annie in “Annie” and ensemble in both “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Addams Family”. Wren enjoys writing and listening to music. Wren would like to thank his family for always being there for them and friends for helping when needed.

Zaira Triana (she/her) (little kid ensemble, Sergei U/S) is thrilled to be a part of Matilda. While this is her first production, she has entertained her family with songs and performances for years. In addition to performing, she enjoys cooking, playing with friends and new adventures.

Maeve Westgate
Maeve Westgate (she/her) (Eric) is excited to be a part of bringing Matilda to all of you! Matilda is a show that she has been wanting to be a part of since she was little. This is Maeve’s sixth show with Stage 284 having previously been in: Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Lion King Jr., Into the Woods, Frozen Jr., and Newsies. Maeve is 11 years old and a 6th Grader at Miles River Middle School here in Hamilton. In her spare time, she likes to play video games, do arts and crafts, and bake.

Elias Wettengel
Elias (Eli) Wettengel (he/ him) (Nigel) is returning to Stage 284 to enthusiastically play the role of “Nigel” in Matilda. Eli started acting at age 4 and has fostered a true love for theater performance with a particular devotion to musical theater. Past credits include: “Michael Darling” in Peter Pan, “Pugsley Addams” in The Addams Family, and “James” in James and the Giant Peach. Eli is empowered by his theater family and loves to make new theater friends. He believes in the power of standing up for others and each other, being in Matilda is a natural fit and a joy for him to be a part of.

Katie Clarke
Katie Clarke (she/her) (artistic director) is excited to be directing this fierce musical with such a fantastic cast and crew! What a joy it is to bring these important stories to life with so many dedicated participants. Katie believes that theater is a place for everyone to shine and uses creative arts to empower, encourage, and foster confidence in her students and tech team members. She is very thankful to her Stage 284 family for helping to create a space that welcomes all! Some of Katie’s past Stage 284 directing credits include, “Newsies,” “Into the Woods,” “The Jungle Book Jr.,” “School of Rock: The Youth Version,” and “Beauty and the Beast Jr.” She has also directed, “The Rocky Horror Show,” “Noises Off,” “Polaroid Stories,” “The Importance of Being Earnest,” and “Shrek the Musical” at Endicott College where she serves as the Coordinator of Theater. Katie loves telling big stories with small voices and truly believes that “even if you’re little you can do a lot!” She hopes you enjoy the show!

Susan Martel
Susan Martel (she/her) (stage manager) is excited to be once again involved in a children’s production at Stage 284. When not behind the scenes, Susan loves to perform on stage. Favorite roles include Rapunzel (Into the Woods), Heidi (), Esther (Meet Me in St Louis), Gertrude (Seussical the Musical), Monteen (Parade) and many more. When not involved with the theater, Susan is a Teacher of the Visually Impaired and mother to a two year old boy, two dogs, and a horse.

Ciaran Mohan
Ciaran Mohan (he/him) (Production Assistant, Intern) is grateful for the opportunity to work behind the scenes on this production. Ciaran has performed onstage regionally and locally throughout New England. Recent Stage 284 credits include the main stage productions of “Our Town” and “Newsies: the Musical.” He would like to thank Katie and Stage 284 for this opportunity, and the cast for working hard on this show!

Craig Robertson
Craig Robertson (he/him) (Technical Director, Lighting and Set Designer) is happy to be working with Stage 284 again with this production of Matilda Jr. He has worked with Stage 284 before and favorite productions include Mamma Mia, Into the Woods, Legally Blonde, Secret Garden, Newsies and Our Town. He has also worked with Actors Incorporated as the Technical Director for Mary Poppins (April 2017), Beauty and the Beast (April 2018), 42nd Street (April 2019) and, most recently, Godspell (April 2022). He also serves as a Theatrical Contractor and helped with Endicott College’s Shrek, The Importance of Being Earnest, and The Rocky Horror Show as well as John Lane’s Ogunquit Playhouse’s Cabaret. When not working in Community Theatre, he has also served as the Technical Director for the past 12 years at Chelmsford High School and consults for the two middle school tech theater programs as well. He hopes you enjoy this production of Matilda Jr.

Gabby Wheeler
Gabby Wheeler (she/they) (assistant director/stage manager) is so excited to be able to assistant direct for the second time. It has been so much fun for her to learn from Katie, Lauren, and Cassie! Gabby recently assistant directed for the first time for Stage 284’s production of Our Town. Some of their favorites roles include Katharine’s understudy in Newsies and Cinderella in Into The Woods. She is so thankful for this experience and is so proud of all the work the kids have put in! 🙂
