About Sona Revette

Sona Revette has been actively involved with The Community House since 2014 when her eldest daughter first discovered and fell in love with theater through Stage 284. After volunteering behind the scenes for years, Sona joined the board in 2020 and serves as Stage 284 liaison to the board.

Sona graduated from Clarkson University and received a Masters in Education from the State University of New York at Potsdam. After teaching preschool and kindergarten for a few years, she made the shift to educational publishing and has worked as a content editor for most of her career. Sona recently served for two years on the Friends of Cutler board as secretary. Prior to that, she served on the parent board at Christ Church Parish Day School for four years as vice-chair, chair and secretary.

Most of Sona’s free time is spent with her family. She and her husband Ben are constantly working on renovating their 1915 Hamilton home and trying to keep up with their three active daughters—Lucine, Eva and Violet.
