How long have you lived in Hamilton or Wenham?

We have lived at our current residence in Hamilton since 2016. Prior to this, we lived in Wenham for 8 years.

Tell us about your family – spouse, children, pets!

My wife (April) and I have one child, Adeline (Addy). She is a 4th grader (2020-2021) at Winthrop School.

Educational background – where did you attend college? post-graduate? Degree(s) held.

I have a BA from Columbia University and a MEd from Endicott College.

Professional background – current employer, areas of professional expertise, etc.

I am currently the Manager of Enterprise and Academic Accounts at edX. EdX is a nonprofit online learning platform that partners with leading academic and corporate institutions to deliver industry leading educational courses. Outside of edX, I have worked in nonprofit management for the past 14 years. I have specialized knowledge of event planning, nonprofit governance, educational program design, and fundraising.

Volunteer history – other groups or boards you have participated in. Length of service, titles/roles held.

In my professional work, I have served as staff to several boards and foundations. In the past, I have served as a  Board member of the Patton Homestead Inc in order to facilitate the strategic use of that property for the town of Hamilton.

Hobbies/interests:

I love to be outdoors, exploring  new locations and rediscovering familiar places with my family. I have an interest in photography and woodworking.

Fun fact about yourself:

I am an avid collector of Mickey Mouse t-shirts. On most summer days, you will find me wearing one.

Board Member, Chair – Annual Fund Committee; Member – TKC Committee

Why are you involved on TCH Board of Directors?

The Community House is a key benefit within the community that directly impacts my family through its programs and events. My goal is to help the Community House as it continues to grow and sustain the legacy that has been built for future generations.
