Friends Club

For nearly 40 years, The Community House has been serving the interests of individuals with disabilities via free social events. Individuals with disabilities are too often isolated and lonely. The Friends Club allows members a much-needed opportunity to socialize, connect with one another, and build community. It represents an excellent expression of The Community House’s deep commitment to inclusion.
Through the Friends Club, TCH offers a wide variety of fun and enriching activities. In a typical year, Club members might be invited to enjoy a spaghetti dinner, a western dance, an art workshop, and a karaoke night–just to name a few options!
The Club is run by Volunteer Facilitator Martha Hale Farrell. We are always seeking new participants and new volunteers. To become a Friends Club member or a volunteer, please contact us.
