Breakfast with Santa

The magic of Santa has been experienced by generations of children and their families at our annual pancake breakfast. Santa’s helpers capture the special moment of your child with Santa in a photograph. There will be a cookie decorating activity for the children. Each child receives a small gift from Santa.
*Sensory Friendly events provide an opportunity for individuals with special needs to access our traditional programs. Sensory events consist of reduced audience size, quieter atmosphere and accepting environment.
Children 2 and up – FREE

Community Carol Sing

Saturday, November 30

Kick off your Christmas celebrations with a Christmas Carol Sing for all ages! Brian Doser and Joe Scuderi, along with a few special guests, team up for an exciting evening of caroling and holiday fun!
3:3pm – Railroad Ave will be closed off for a festive evening with hot cocoa and more!
4pm – A special visit from Santa and his holiday mini horses – great opportunity to take some special photos!
5pm – The lighting of the Christmas Tree at People’s United Bank on Railroad Ave, followed by our Community Carol Sing. Booklets of carols will be provided by The Community House. Children are encouraged to bring their own flashlights or glowsticks.

Father-Daughter Winter Ball

Saturday, February 8, 6-8pm
Mark your calendar and get ready to create some lasting memories. Dress up for this father daughter date night and join us at The Community House for music, dancing, and more! Appetizers, beverages, and dreamy desserts will be provided throughout the evening. Photographs will be available at no additional charge.

Middle School Program

The purpose of the Middle School Night Program is to provide an outlet for middle school-aged youth to enjoy safe and supervised social activities. Each event has a theme along with interactive dances and games featuring a local DJ.

Teen Volunteer Opportunities

The Community House offers a variety of opportunities for high school students to fulfill their Community Service Learning requirement. Opportunities include clerical work, special event support, concessions and landscaping. Volunteerism among teens has become a popular way to help develop job skills and contribute to the community.
