Adult Sewing

Wednesdays, 10am-12:30pm
Session I: September 27 – October 25
Session II: November 8- December 13 (no class Nov 22)

Newcomers and experienced sewers will practice the FUNdamentals of sewing, both by hand and with a basic sewing machine. Skills will include sewing straight and curved seams, buttonholes, decorative stitches, embellishments and zippers. Participants will decide on their individual project and are encouraged to bring ideas and/or projects they are working on to the first class. Instructor Rhonda Galpern

It is only a matter of a few short minutes before it is too late to save a life … learning what to do provides you precious minutes and gives someone a chance to survive. YOU CAN SAVE A LIFE! This HEARTSAVER course, including the hands-only approach to CPR w/ AED, will be taught by Regina Baker, RN. The instructor is certified by the American Heart Association. Appropriate for ages 11 and up
Class fee: $50 includes certification card valid for 2 years
