Community Service Awards

The Community House recognizes and honors individuals who have exhibited extraordinary dedication to volunteerism and/or community service. The Joanne Holbrook Patton Community Service Award and the Volunteer of the Year Award are presented at our annual Harvest Dinner in November. Nominations are accepted year-round.

The Community House has been serving the interests of our “Special Friends”, individuals with special needs, for over 30 years via regular socials. All events are free, with advance registration. RSVP 978-468-4818 x10. Interested in volunteering? There are opportunities to volunteer throughout the year.

Bring your property map (tax map, Google map, photos) as well as any pictures from Pinterest/magazines and we’ll brainstorm together as Mara reviews the process behind creative and functional landscape design.

A Christmas Carol Sing for all ages! Brian Doser and Joe Scuderi, along with a few special guests, team up for an exciting evening of caroling and lighting of The Community House, the gazebo in Patton Park and the Christmas Tree at People’s United Bank on Railroad Avenue with cookies and cocoa!
