Community Service Awards

The Community House recognizes and honors individuals who have exhibited extraordinary dedication to volunteerism and/or community service. The Joanne Holbrook Patton Community Service Award and the Volunteer of the Year Award are presented at our annual Harvest Dinner in November. Nominations are accepted year-round.

A Christmas Carol Sing for all ages! Caroling and inaugural lighting of The Community House, lighting of the gazebo in Patton Park and lighting of the Christmas Tree at People’s United Bank on Railroad Avenue with cookies and cocoa! Children are encouraged to bring their own flashlight or glowsticks. A great way to kick off your Christmas celebrations.

2018 BLOCK PARTY NEWS – Despite our best efforts to reschedule the 2018 Community Block Party, we have been unable to coordinate all the elements that make this event so special and spectacular for a new date this summer. However, The Community House is THRILLED to announce that we will be partnering with the Town of Wenham’s 375th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, September 8th. We are looking forward to bringing lots of Block Party fun and flare to this special event — we hope to see you there! Stay tuned for more details coming soon…
